I didn’t feel like an introverted wallflower in his arms. I felt like a woman that could finally blossom. The world didn’t matter. The only thing that mattered was the passion erupting between us. I was his as long as he wanted me to be—and captivated by the mountain of a man that turned into a gentle giant when he was with me.

“God this feels so freaking good!” My mouth opened and a loud moan escaped.

“Now I’m going to show you how good it can really be.” He tightened his grip on my neck and moved the other hand behind my back.

Mason lifted me off the mattress until I was suspended in his arms. He started thrusting and moving me in unison with each one of them. Our bodies crashed together like thunder, and the intensity made my eyes roll back in my head. It felt like there was electricity dancing along the surface of my skin. A pressure built up inside me that was so tight it nearly suffocated me. His cock throbbed when it went deep, and every pulsation sent ripples of pleasure through my veins. The pressure got so intense that I couldn’t stand it anymore. I knew I was about to orgasm—there was no way to slow it down, even though I wanted to cling to that feeling forever.

“Oh god, I’m gonna come!” My jaw opened wide, and a shrill scream rushed from my throat.

“Come for me baby—then I’m going to come inside you.” He tightened his grip. “I’m going to make that scream sound like a whimper.”

Our bodies collided together. I was floating on a cloud in his arms—with nothing but pure euphoria soaking the essence of my being. He took me to the edge, broke me in half, and then put me back together again as the pressure began to release. My pussy spasmed on his thick cock. I felt his throbs and pulsations get quicker. My pussy tried to clench his length, but he just hammered me harder. The orgasm seized every muscle in my body. A loud scream roared from within me, but I could barely hear it over the sound of my heart beating in my ears. The orgasm consumed me. Pleasure shot through my body until I could feel every nerve ending coming to life. He continued to thrust himself into me as I came harder than I ever imagined was possible, then I heard a growl in his throat.

Mason started to erupt inside me. I felt his seed surging through his shaft and, then it flooded my pussy. The throbs that sent thick ropes of cum inside me triggered another orgasm. I screamed again—possibly louder than I had previously, but I couldn’t even tell. I was lost in the moment of ultimate bliss. Mason kept thrusting through my second orgasm, and every drop was milked from his balls while we climaxed. He held me there in his arms for several seconds while the orgasm faded, and I felt nirvana replacing the intensity of our passion.

“That was amazing…” I was so tired I barely found the energy to speak.

“It was a good start.” Mason leaned forward, and I sank into the mattress. “We’ll have the rest of our lives to figure out if we can top it.”

“Don’t say things like that unless you mean it…” I exhaled sharply.

He didn’t answer. I was glad he didn’t. I didn’t need to hear an empty promise. I didn’t want to cling to something that wasn’t going to happen. The beauty of what we shared was enough. I just wanted to stay in that moment with him. He moved to the side and dropped down on the mattress beside me. I used the last of my physical strength to shift into his powerful arms, and he pulled me close. I was so tired that I couldn’t have forced my eyes open if I wanted to. I slept in his arms with the afterglow of our passion bringing a calmness to my soul that I had never felt before. I loved that feeling—even if it wasn’t going to last forever.

  Epilogue

  Mason

I could tell there was doubt in Lea’s eyes when I told her that I was coming back to Los Angeles. She came with me to the airport, and I made her a promise before I boarded the plane—I would be back before the azaleas in the vase withered and died. She smiled—she told me it was sweet—but it still felt like goodbye when her lips found mine for the final time in that terminal. I sent an email to my boss as soon as I was on the plane. I told him that I was accepting the offer—and I wanted to go ahead, and work remotely from Los Angeles so I could oversee the hiring while the building was being renovated.

Telling my parents was hard, but they understood why I wanted to take advantage of the opportunity. I didn’t tell them that what ultimately pushed me towards the decision was the woman I met at Greyson’s wedding. I wanted to, but I figured it was best to wait on that announcement until we had been together a little longer. My siblings in England didn’t seem to care that I was leaving—they actually started making bets on how long I would stay before I returned home. Landon was definitely going to lose that one—unless Lea wanted to move to England one day.

Less than a week after I boarded the plane that took me away from the woman I had fallen for, I was on my way back. My boss agreed to let me stay in Los Angeles but wanted me to wait a little longer—I decided that it was time to cash in some of the vacation days I never took. I wasn’t going to break the promise I made. I knew Lea would meet me at the airport if I told her that I was coming, but I wanted to surprise her, so I made arrangements to have Greyson pick me up. He had just gotten back from his honeymoon and didn’t mind. I walked outside of the airport with my luggage and saw his Maserati parked by the curb.

“Welcome back.” He stepped out of his car and popped the trunk. “I thought you were moving here—you didn’t bring much stuff.”

“The rest of it is on the way,” I chuckled and tossed my bag into the back of his car. “Thanks for letting me crash at your house for a few days until I find a place of my own.”

“No problem at all—I doubt you’ll spend much time there anyway.” He slid back behind the steering wheel.

“Why is that?” I sat down in the passenger seat and raised my eyebrows inquisitively.

“Oh, a certain someone might have let something slip to Christina...” He chuckled under his breath. “I assume that’s why you’re back so soon.”

“It might have something to do with it.” I grinned.

“Lea’s a nice girl—I hear she’s a bit shy though.” Greyson leaned forward and cranked up his car.

“Nah.” I shook my head back and forth.

She’s not shy when she’s with me.

I dropped everything off at Greyson’s house and spent a little time with the newlyweds before borrowing a car so that I could go see Lea. I knew when she got done with classes, so I waited outside of her apartment until she finally appeared at the end of the hall. She didn’t look up—or notice me at first. She kept her head down and balanced her books while digging in her purse for what I assumed were her keys.

“How are those azaleas doing?” I folded my arms across my chest. “Did I make it back before they wilted?”

“Mason!?” She stopped in her tracks and dropped her books. “Oh my god!”

The look on Lea’s face was worth surprising her. She ran to me and it was practically slow motion. I caught her in my arms, and we hugged—for once, I wasn’t the one worried about squeezing too hard—it felt like she was actually going to leave a couple of bruises.

“I told you I’d be back—and I’m not leaving again.” I leaned back from her embrace.

  “Really?” She blinked in surprise.

“Yes.” I nodded. “I’m staying with Greyson until I find my own place and then I’ll be working remotely from Los Angeles until the new office opens.”

“That’s—that’s amazing.” The edge of her eyes filled with tears. “I wanted to believe you would come back, but I wasn’t sure…”

“I’ll never break a promise to you.” I pulled her close. “You’re mine—just like I said.”

And you will be—as long as I draw breath.
